Temp & Speed Controlled Inline Fan - Secret Jardin (DF16 E 350)

Designed to fit our DUCTING FLANGE system, our range of extractors can also be used conventionally by adding two DF16100 connectors, 125 or 150mm.
The interface allows you to select temperature, minimum extraction and maximum extraction to optimally regulate your environment.
The 24 volt EC motor allows you to adjust the extraction speed and therefore save 30-40% energy compared to AC extractors.
Once the extractor is installed, you simply connect the corresponding filter to your growing area. Its high capacity activated carbon CTC80 ensures optimal protection for a long time. The new Secret Jardin DF16 EC exhaust fan with smart click function can be mounted to the Ducting Flange system within seconds and without additional tools. It is intended to be used in combination with the SecretJardin Carbon Activated Carbon Filters CTC80. However, the EC fan can also be connected to other standard filters using a connector for Ducting Flange and the corresponding Rubber Ducts. The fan is equipped with a temperature control function and two heat sensors (inside or outside), depending on the size of your grow box (see picture). A high-quality EC motor (24V-40W) has also been installed. The housing is made of flame-retardant polyamide, reinforced with glass fibre (PA66 + 15% GF V0).

Setting the controllers:

1. Select your desired set temperature (TEMP°). The EC fan regulates the temperature with a deviation of +/- 2°C.
2. select the minimum exhaust air speed (EXT. MIN). So that the air can be exhausted even at low temperatures.
3. select the maximum exhaust air speed (EXT. MAX). Depending on the grow surface (see technical data).

Integrated and external temperature sensor

If the 2nd thermal sensor (external) is connected, the integrated sensor is switched off. So if you use the integrated temperature sensor, the EC fan runs at a minimum speed of 5%.

Volume test:
The measurement was taken 70cm in front of the tent without silencer.

max. stage 150m3/h: 36 dB
max. stage 250m3/h: 54 dB
max. stage 350m3/h: 61 dB

Recommendation:

level 150m3/h for a grow tent up to 60x60x160cm, recommended Carbon Filter DF16150.
level 250m3/h for a grow tent up to 100x100x200cm, recommended Carbon Filter DF16250.
level 350m3/h for a grow tent up to 120x120x200cm, recommended Carbon Filter DF16350.
