Why Canopy Readings Beat a Cheap Wall Hygrometer

• Your room and your canopy are not the same climate. A meter stuck on the tent wall can read several degrees and several percent off what your plants are actually sitting in. This probe goes where the plants are.
• Temperature plus humidity gives you VPD. VPD is what drives how hard your plants drink and transpire. Many growers aim for roughly 0.8 to 1.2 kPa in veg and 1.2 to 1.6 kPa in flower. You cannot steer it if you cannot see it.
• Catch problems before they cost you. Humidity spikes at lights off are where bud rot and powdery mildew start. Heat stress at lights on is where yield and terpenes go. Live readings show you both.

I already have a hygrometer. Why do I need this?
A standalone hygrometer shows you a number. This feeds the number into your light's controller, so your climate data and your lighting live on one system and one screen.

Where should I place it?
